Strategic Infrastructure & Systems Consulting
Helping organizations make the right technical decisions before they become expensive problems.
I work with leadership teams to design, review, and validate infrastructure, network, and systems architecture—bringing over 30 years of real-world experience across software, networks, and datacenter operations.
Clear thinking. Independent perspective.
What I Help With
Most organizations don’t struggle because of bad technology.
They struggle because early architectural decisions quietly limit growth, resilience, or flexibility.
I help leadership teams answer questions such as:
- Are we designing infrastructure that will scale—or constrain us?
- Where are our hidden single points of failure?
- Should this environment live in a datacenter, cloud, or hybrid model?
- Are we creating unnecessary vendor lock-in?
- Does our technical direction actually support the business plan?
My role is to step back, challenge assumptions, and provide experienced guidance before these decisions are locked in.
Advisory Services

- Identification of risk, bottlenecks, and architectural constraints
- Scalability and resiliency review
- Vendor-neutral analysis
- Written findings and recommendations
Infrastructure & Network Strategy Roadmap
Strategic guidance aligned to business growth and operational reality.
- Datacenter, cloud, or hybrid architecture direction

- Vendor evaluation and technical oversight
- Executive-level technical translation
- Priority advisory access
Datacenter & Hosting Strategy Advisory
Independent guidance for organizations operating—or planning to operate—critical infrastructure.
- Datacenter vs cloud vs hybrid analysis
- Capacity, redundancy, and growth planning
- Connectivity and network strategy
- Cost and risk modeling
Why Hire Me vs an MSP
This is an important distinction.
Managed Service Providers (MSPs) are structured to:
- Deliver day-to-day IT operations
- Manage tickets, devices, and users
- Implement and support solutions
My role is different.
I am brought in when:
- Decisions are strategic rather than operational
- The cost of getting it wrong is significant
- Leadership wants independent, vendor-neutral judgment
- Senior technical perspective is needed without implementation bias
I do not provide managed services, helpdesk support, or hands-on implementation.
My value is in experience, pattern recognition, and architectural judgment.
Engagement & Pricing
Engagements are scoped based on complexity, scale, and business objectives.
Typical advisory work falls within the following ranges.
Architecture & Infrastructure Reviews
Strategy & Roadmap Engagements
Fractional CTO / Advisory Retainers
On-Demand Advisory Sessions
On-site engagements are available when appropriate. Travel expenses are billed separately.
ABOUT ME
I have worked in information technology and systems engineering for over three decades.
My career began in enterprise banking systems and software development, expanded into network engineering and infrastructure design, and evolved into executive leadership and large-scale systems operations across the United States and Latin America.
I am fluent in English and Spanish, with experience working in technical, business, and contractual environments across the U.S. and Latin America.
I am the Founder & CEO of Microtronix ESolutions, where I designed and built carrier-grade infrastructure and a Tier 1 datacenter from the ground up. While Microtronix continues to operate independently, my consulting work focuses exclusively on strategic advisory, architecture review, and executive guidance.
This background allows me to advise from direct experience—not theory.

How to Get Started
Most engagements begin with a focused conversation to understand your goals, constraints, and decision timeline.
If it’s a fit, we’ll define a clear advisory scope and move forward deliberately.
